London Triathlon

Two of our Mules, Chip (formely of Raging Kipper fame) and Celia took part in their first London Triathlon.

"On the swim the water was v brown, murky, and, although I know the Thames is tidal, it was quite salty....although I tried NOT to drink it. It was windy & a little choppy, but ok.

The bike was extremely windy with a strange cross wind that seemed to be in your face whichever direction we were travelling. Lots of people suffered on the bike due to the wind - no drafting allowed !

The run was really flat around the docklands area - so not difficult.

The crowds were brilliant, cheering us all the way. Our fellow competitors loved the MuleBars and we even had some people coming back for more!

Overall, a really good event."

Times as follows: total time of splits were:
swim 35.48
bike 1.09.29
run 47.10
