Sleepless in the Saddle - more mud...

A report from one of our Mules, Sarah Anne. Pictures are to follow.

"Well what fun you missed at Sleepless! It was a mud fest.
Nick and the Team Mule Bar did bloomin' well, certainly made tougher stuff than most.

We didn’t do to well I’m afraid.
I crashed my bike on my first lap and took a handle bar to the sternum, not the nicest, just about managed to get through my second lap so we didn’t get a DNF.
One of our riders refused to ride at night and I don’t blame her the conditions were crap.
We pushed bikes for quite alot of the laps as the mud was just to sticky to ride and clogged up bike wheels.
Full suspension, knobblys were not ideal and the single speed hard tails won through on the day.
The boys didn’t far to well either.......

The girls came 5th mainly due to the fact that we didn’t push on through the night due to the fact we were 2 riders down."

Well done to both of Sarah Anne's teams, tough conditions, tough race but cool riders.
