MuleBoys in Afghanistan

We recently received a letter from a keen triathlete, adventure racer and avid MuleBar fan called Pej, who is working for the Camp Bastion Fire Service out in Afghanistan as part of the combined Royal Navy and Airforce.

Pej and his team deal with real emergencies on an daily basis, from general fire protection to helping with serious casualties as they come out of helicopters.
The touching hand-written letter, such a rarity nowadays, told us of how the team keep fit and excercise to help them deal with their stressful living conditions and poor diet.

Having previously used MuleBar whilst racing, Pej wanted to know if we would send him and his team some MuleBars to provide them with some 100% natural energy to keep their spirits up. We were more than happy to oblige.

After receiving the bars, Pej sent us an email saying;

'MuleBars came in really useful when we had to head into Helmand to deal with a building that had been blown up with people trapped, they made a nice change from our dehydrated food rations and I'm sure you'll be happy to know that the local children there are all running around with MuleBar badges and stickers!!!!'

Keep up the good work boys, we're proud of you.
