Message on the hoof

Calling all sales Mules ready to gallop.. .

In this exciting role as UK Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the UK Bike-Tri-Run and Outdoor category.

A passion for all sports is preferred.

You will be market-oriented, with strong presentation skills, hold pre-existing relationships with key buyers and industry personnel as well as a demonstrable insight into the relevant industries’ direction for trends and sales and how nutrition fits in with those.

You will be a strongly results-motivated sales person, able to perform field marketing activities and sales at the same time. You must be equally at home selling from behind a stand at a race or an event to consumers, as in the office selling to multiple retail buyers.
A certain amount of cold calling is inevitable within the day to day business and so don’t be shy.
It is envisaged that

You will be flexible and willing to travel, have a head for heights and enjoy a start-up atmosphere which has daily challenges galore.

Expect one day per week office based, although we call it The Stable.

Brass Monkeys Round 1

Round 1 of Brass Monkeys certainly lived up to its name on Sunday. With ground like concrete making the course very fast, there were parts that made you think you were riding in the summer.

Top job to Si Panter and the rest of the Vikings.

Matt told me about it when in wales. Have to admit, I detest cherry ‘flavour’...but your cherry bomb is brilliant. The ONLY ever cherry flavour I like. Ever. Even prefer it to Zinger.
