Happy Christmas!

Palamos Christmas Race.... Mules Team Burnet Stewart

"Not a great ending to the competition in Palamos...we went into the medal race lying 3rd but made a mess of the race and finished 9th which dropped us to 6th overall. Very annoying but we've definitely learnt a lot and the experience of messing up a medal race will hopefully mean that next time we're in that situation we'll finish with a positive outcome! A short break now and then we'll be back in Weymouth on the 2nd Jan, ready to burn off the mince pies at a (very cold squad camp. Onwards and upwards. Merry Christmas everyone!"

Zimbabwe here we come....

The Marathon des Sables (MdS, Marathon of the Sands, or Sahara Marathon) is a six-day, 251 km (156 mi) ultramarathon, which is the equivalent of six regular marathons. The longest single stage (2009) is 91 km (57 mi) long. This multiday race is held every year in southern Morocco, in the Sahara desert. It is considered the toughest foot race on Earth. The first event of the Marathon started in 1986.

Ok, so tell us something we didn't already know - Alex met Patrick Bauer last night - an inspiration of a man, incredible and a man who shares all the dreams and passion of MuleBar and who loves our energy.
