MollyOlly Mules ReFuel...

 A fantastic ride for Molly...

Dear Jimmy and Alex
A massive thank you for supporting the www.mollyolly.co.uk charity cycle ride which has so far raised circa £25000
To say it was difficult is an understatement. Everest is based in North Wales it covers an area called Snowdon
We had typical  North Wales weather-rain and 40 mph winds
After riding from Llandudno to Betws-y-coed, places I had heard of in school when I studied glaciers we had a quick pit stop. We then cycled on to  Blaenau Ffestiniog which is blessed with a fantastic hostelry the Bryn Arms This was like an oasis where were able to dry off and re fuel. Pictures attached
We then had a quick 20 miles to Dolgelleau where the Youth Hostel is at the top of the North face of the Eiger

The next two days were like a Monty Python sketch-spam spam spam. Instead of spam it was more rain hills and wind on the route to Warwick via Church Stretton . This town is found next to Long Mynd which is Welsh for long mountain.............I wonder why. Similarly Church Stretton is also known as Little Switzerland –yes that place with ski resorts.

Having said the above it was a fantastic experience to join 42 other blokes dressed in pink lycra  on this wonderful cause.
The welcome home at the Durham Ox in Shrewley near Warwick was fantastic.

All the best
Mike
