Saddleback's Scot Easter Top 20 in the Worlds Toughest CX Challenge 2011 - this year?

The worlds in Copenhagen and the first British win for 46 years, may have grabbed the headlines in the cycling media this weekend. But a far more brutal race was being run in the North of England.
Acknowledge by many as the toughest event in which to bring a drop bar bike the Three Peaks has a long tradition of making riders suffer. In fact riders where doing this event the last time Britain had a world champion.
Words alone cant convey the challenge so check out the video of last years race (in perfect conditions as apposed to this years rain and mist).
And check out these stats; 38miles, 5000ft climbing 20 miles off road (of which you have to carry for approximately 4miles) 563 finishers from a start list of 680. Check out the site here

Congratulations Scot on a fine race
The event was eventualy won by vetran hard man Nick Craig in a time of 3;08;47,

 Check out the bottle....
